Sunday Series: Hanging On

Welcome to the very first post in my brand new Sunday series. I'll be posting every Sunday (obvs) with just my general thoughts for the week and what I've been up to. Some may be just more like a brain-dump, some might be more of a personal, reflective post. I've been saying I wanted to switch up my content so more personal posts is just an idea!

Spring Capsule Wardrobe Prep

I've had this post sat in my drafts for a couple of weeks now and was constantly dreaming of spring. Then Snowmaggedon happened and my dreams went out the window. Now it looks like the worst of the snow is over (fingers crossed), I can finally start planning my spring wardrobe!

The Watch-List: March 2018

Having dealt with snow days and having quite a bit of free time lately, I've spent most nights doing uni work or freelance work whilst watching the TV. I've found that there hasn't been much on actual TV that I've been hooked on so I've stuck to watching a lot of DVDs. How I get through some series so quickly, I do not know. I guess it's because there are no adverts! Here's a look at what I've been watching during March.

April Goals

Happy Easter Sunday, everyone! I hope your Easter is filled with family and chocolate: the two most important things about Easter for most of us who aren't religious! I haven't written a goals post since Christmas time and I really do think they help me to stay motivated. It's a way of keeping myself on track and holding myself accountable basically! April is a busy month for myself: I have exams, assignments, a new job, new freelance work, a blog to run, theatre shows to attend, events to go to. Packing it all in is going to be a tough task but I like to keep myself busy!

My Latest Kiko Milano Haul

Working in Meadowhall and around the corner from Kiko is extremely dangerous for my bank account. Luckily, I work a lot of night shifts so I tend to just go straight from the train to work and then back to the train so I avoid going past it. However, I am all about the motto TREAT YO' SELF so I try to get in every once in a while!

Prepping For A New Fitness Challenge

It might be Valentine's Day but for me, it's all about loving yourself. How about some self-love instead? Loving yourself can in fact be more difficult than loving others but it is equally, if not more, important. For me, loving myself is all about looking after my health and well-being and that includes keeping fit.

The Ultimate Nail Collection: Autograph Colour Full Days

I have to admit, I'm a nail polish hoarder. I have so many different shades but had to cull over half of my collection when I went cruelty-free (Essie, here's looking at you!). Because I've been researching those brands that are CF, I was thrilled to find that M&S' Autograph range was.

26 Before 26

Now that I’ve reached a quarter of a century on the planet and am now the wise old age of 25, I really need to start getting my shit together. I’ve always been someone who strives for the best; in fact, my ambition has got in the way of relationships and friendships before with people in my life not wanting me to reach my full potential or reach my dreams.

The Greatest Showman Review

I used to live in the cinema. Well, not literally, but when I was younger, I was there on a weekly basis. In senior school and college, especially during the holidays, I was there multiple times a week. In recent years, the price of cinema tickets has risen and I’ve not had the time to spend a couple of hours watching the big screen.

24 Achievements At 24

Yesterday was an exciting yet equally terrifying day for me: I turned 25! I'm excited to become a proper adult but the idea of being halfway to 50 (as my dad likes to remind me frequently) scares the crap out of me!

Brand Focus: No7

I've been a fan of No7 for a while now; it's the only brand I buy foundation and mascara from. I've always been a budget, drugstore brand but for certain products, I believe it can be better to pay a little more than a couple of quid if they're what you're looking for.

The Watch-List: December 2017

December is usually a month where I watch a shedload of TV and films; however, with uni deadlines, extra shifts at work plus travelling to and from Sheffield for both Christmas and New Year, I've not watched a great deal!

101 In 1001

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm one of those people who doesn't celebrate New Year itself but who loves any chance of a fresh start. I always use the first couple of days in January to get my shit together, organise my life and try to start how I mean to go on. However, I am also someone who usually fails by the 4th or 5th and has had enough of everything and has a lazy year after that point.
