Hi there. My name is Sian and I have a shopping addiction. I used to be addicted to buying clothes but seeing as I’ve downsized my whole wardrobe to create a capsule one, I’ve taken to buying into a supersize make-up collection.

Superdrug is usually my first port of call for make-up as 1. They stock MUA and Make-Up Revolution and 2. STUDENT DISCOUNT!

I’ve got so many palettes already but I wanted to get a couple of purely nude ones that were smaller and better for travelling. Don’t get me wrong, I love the other palettes I have but they all come in pretty packaging and are quite bulky. This Make Up Revolution Essential Mattes 2 palette has all of the nude shades in it; from light to dark, it’s perfect for a brown smokey eye which is my go-to look for day! Browns always looks less harsh for day than black eyeliner!

I decided on two as I can’t resist a 3-for-2 offer! Next, I bought the Iconic Elements palette as this has a few more darker shades. I love that both of these have lights and darks in them for day and night looks. Seriously, if you want to try a palette and don’t want to spend a tonne of money, MUR do not disappoint with theirs!

I’ve been looking into matte lipsticks/lipglosses and thought a lipgloss would be less drying than a lipstick. This Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid in Nude Flush is verrrrry pink. I’ve not actually tried this yet but I chose it purely because of the amazing colour!

I often wear tinted lipbalms for work as lipsticks can be quite harsh during the daytime. I have a peach one and a reddish one so have been on the lookout for a pink one.

Revlon’s Colourburst Matte Balm in Sultry was the one that caught my eye. The shade of the crayon looks a lot darker than the outer packaging which I didn’t notice until I’d got home and the colour on the website looks brown rather than pink! The colour is pretty strong so I might not even end up wearing it during the day!

Ah, my trusted concealer. Ever since I saw bloggers saying how much they loved the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, I caved and bought it. I’ve been using it for a few months now and I can’t believe I hadn’t tried it sooner! I usually go for the lightest shade but as pale as I am, my face is actually a lot darker than the rest of my body. I decided to go for Cool Medium 2 as this was the next lightest shade.

Another mascara to add to my collection! I really got this because of the 3-for-2 offer as I needed a third product to make up the offer. I used to swear by Rimmel mascara until my favourite got discontinued and I’ve never been able to find it in a outlet at all! I chose their Lash Accelerator Endless mascara because I liked the shape and size of the brush.
