I’m slowly making my way through my Christmas/birthday gift sets and this was a particular favourite of mine. My best friend bought me this (hi Amy!) and it was love at first sight!
I’ve never tried any Ted Baker beauty products before so I was intrigued to see what the Perfectly Polished nail polishes would be like. I had my eye on these in the Boots Christmas catalogue (a favourite Christmas tradition of mine is collecting all the catalogues and circling the items I love) so it just shows how much my bestie knows me!

As I’m making an effort to go cruelty-free with all of my beauty products lately, I was thrilled to research that Ted Baker do not test on animals and are vegan free (apart from their hair wax).

First of all, can I just say how much I love this packaging? I’ve never really been fussed by Ted Baker (I know everyone’s obsessed with their handbags) but I do looooove bows. This box looks super expensive and the bow just adds an extra touch!

The cardboard holder is incredibly strong so I’ve kept the polishes in their original packaging! The only downside for me is that the polishes don’t have any names or shades on them!

The first shade is a nude peach colour which will be perfect for the winter-spring transition. It’s very sheer so would probably be best used as a base for a French manicure!

Shade number two is a pale, frosty pink which will be perfect for summer. It’s almost like an ice cream colour so it would look great with an all-white outfit!

The third shade I can only describe as greige. It’s grey mixed with beige and it’s always a shade that I have to hand. I’m excited to add another pot to my collection of greys though!

The final shade is a gorgeous metallic bronze which will be great for party season! Metallics are definitely something I’m lacking so this is a great addition!

Overall, this is a great gift set and if you received it for Christmas, you will not be disappointed! I wish they sold their beauty products all year round because I’d consider more from their range! You can still buy this set on Amazon here.
