Tone It Up Spring Warm Up: Week 1

If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t, do it now!), you will know that fitness is a big part of my life thanks to Tone It Up. I’ve been following the programme for a while now but am only finally starting to schedule my workouts in properly.

Last week was week 1 of the Spring Warm-Up series, an 8 week series that leads up the start of the Bikini Series! I thought it would be a good idea to share my journey with you all as it is something I am passionate about.

My Week in Workouts:

  • Monday: AMWO: Set The Bar + Tone HIIT Up. (I also took my measurements/weight and will do this every 2 weeks) PMWO: A couple pf Blogilates videos (Heartbeat Heaven and Slim ‘n’ Sculpt) + Total Body Tone Up + #30DaysPilatesBody Day 4.
  • Tuesday: AMWO: Burn It Up + 5 Minute Abs. PMWO: None.
  • Wednesday: Rest day.
  • Thursday: AMWO: Boxing HIIT Workout + Kettle Booty. PMWO: 5 videos from The Fitness Marshall’s Youtube channel.
  • Friday: Rest day.
  • Saturday/Sunday: Rest days.

What went well this week:
I was really happy with my workouts at the start of the week. Even though I didn’t workout over the weekend, I didn’t eat as much rubbish food as I thought I was. I’ve tried to increase my protein intake and limit the amount of chocolate I eat. I could never cut it out completely so only having a handful is better than eating a huge share bag!

Areas for improvement next week: 
I want to try to workout every single day. I have exams on Wednesday so I won’t be having an AMWO that day but I hope to do a quick PMWO once I get home. Although I have next Thursday and Friday off to relax, I still want to get moving as my days off are just turning into lazy days! I also want to start walking more!
