Happy Sunday and Bank Holiday weekend everyone! Also, how is it nearly September already? I’m excited for the new month because I always get that new school year feeling, even though I left school in 2009 and haven’t been in education since I finished my Masters in 2018. This week has been a bit of a rollercoaster so let’s dive in to the Sunday Diaries 007.
A SLOW START TO THE WEEK
I really wished it hadn’t been but I just struggled to focus on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Last week was one of my most productive weeks ever in my business so I think it led to a bout of burnout. I ended up spending two days in bed watching One Tree Hill. I’m currently halfway through season 3 because I’ve spent so much time watching it.
A MAD END TO THE WEEK
With a growing workload, that meant that Thursday and Friday were absolutely manic. Writing 5 longer articles in two days was super stressful and I never want to get in that situation again! How often do we plan to have the perfect week and it goes off track? All the time! Well, there’s always next week!
HOLIDAY PREP
I might only be going to the Peak District in September but it’s still a holiday. No, a holiday doesn’t have to mean you go abroad. I love taking trips around the UK! This week has been spent checking if I need anything before we go as well as researching stuff to do in the area, mostly food. I’ve found about 100 cafes I want to eat and we’re only going Monday-Friday.
PLANNING THEATRE TRIPS
I’ve not sat in a theatre since March 2020 and I’ve never suffered such withdrawal symptoms from anything before. However, I have started to book in shows for September and onwards as well as travel to get there. I’m hoping to get back on the press list for my local theatre to cover even more shows as well as travel around Yorkshire and the West End to add more reviews to my site.
And there is the Sunday Diaries 007 completed! I’m hoping to start blogging twice a week from September so expect more TV/movies/books/theatre/musicals content coming soon! If you want a closer look at my daily life, give me a follow on Twitter or Instagram.
