March was a pretty trying month, but with quarter two here, April is looking a little brighter. I can finally eat my weight in Mini Eggs, the weather is improving, and I feel a renewed sense of energy. Let’s recap my March goals first before going into my 10 goals for April 2026.
MARCH GOALS RECAP
Set up for Q2: spring capsule, goals + personal curriculum
DONE! I spent the weekend and the last couple of weekdays getting set up for April and Q2. I’m excited for a new capsule wardrobe, and to have a 90-day reset on my blog, business and life.
Tidy spare bedroom/home office
Fail. It’ll get done when it gets done, but I cannot keep adding it as a monthly goal!
Update habit tracker daily
Fail. I was great for the first couple of weeks, but when I fall off for one day, I get lazy for the rest of the week! Getting into a routine every night is a must for me to achieve this goal!
Keep up with haircare routine
DONE. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made with this routine. I’ve even gone a step further and added my hair wash routines into Asana, so I’m consistent with using each product.
20 no-spend days
Fail. I managed nineteen, so it’s not a total disaster. However, I was a bit spendy in the middle of the month and had five unplanned spend days. It is what it is, and I need to give myself a pat on the back for
Save £300
DONE. I managed to save nearly £750 this month! I’m amazed at how I saved that much, over double what I had planned. I guess I didn’t spend as much as I thought I would this month!
List old clothes on Vinted
Fail. I uploaded three items, but decluttered a whole lot more. I’m hoping to get them uploaded over the Easter weekend instead.
Get back into routine with client R
Fail. I was all ready to do this, and client R terminated my contract. They’re changing up how they do their content and taking my role in-house. It’s a massive shame because they’re my last retainer client. Now I’m back to square one, starting from scratch.
Get back into posting CBS + TEE content
Fail-ish. Whilst I haven’t been posting much, I have scheduled some content for April already, and planned out my Q2 content calendar for both my business and my blog.
Complete new biz website
Fail. I’d say I’m 75% off the way there, just need to double-check all of the pages and write up an About page.
10 GOALS FOR APRIL 2026
March was definitely a mixed bag, but I’m excited for a new month. April is going to be filled with lots of fun goals for a change, instead of making it all about overachieving. Here are my 10 goals for April 2026.
Increase analogue time
This year, I’ve spent way too much time on either my phone or laptop. It’s time to get offline and enjoy some analogue time. My ideas include getting back into daily journaling, updating my bullet journals weekly, scrapbooking after every theatre trip, reading up on my personal curriculum two nights a week, biz/personal development once a week, and reading daily. I miss having time for hobbies that aren’t just blogging and content!
Finish Off Campus book series
In preparation for the Amazon Prime series starting in May, I want to finish off the original five-book series and then maybe go through Elle Kennedy’s other series as well. I’m already onto the third book, so I can’t imagine this will be a difficult goal to reach!
Digitise clothing on wardrobe app
I’ve had a wardrobe app on my phone for a couple of years now, but I haven’t been using it for quite some time. It’s a good indicator of cataloguing what you own and seeing what you actually wear. Honestly, it’s the perfect decluttering tool!
Maintain skincare + haircare routines
This might seem like a ridiculous goal to some, but it’s about time that I take better care of myself. Because I don’t wear a lot of make-up, I like to work on my skin more now. I’m also heading into my mid-30s, and I want to keep looking younger as I get older! My hair has always been a major feature of mine, but I also want to keep it looking healthy and glossy. My routines are more about maintenance rather than major changes.
Upload unwanted clothing to Vinted
It’s that time of year when I have a wardrobe declutter. This time, I need to get those unwanted items onto Vinted. I mean, I work in a Post Office part-time, so it’s not like I have to go out of my way to post stuff! The extra income wouldn’t go amiss, either.
Start using Prolific again
As I just said, I’m trying to get back into side hustling. Prolific is probably my favourite survey site. You get paid more than average, and there’s such a mixture of them, too. I believe that they’re either academic studies or business surveys, so you feel like you’re actually being useful!
No spending on clothes in April
On the flip side of budgeting, I also need to save more money. I spent a fair bit on clothing in March, but I returned most of the items that I bought. Whilst I’ve always got a wishlist, I’ve decided that April is my month to go cold turkey on clothes spending. I don’t really need anything right now, so I’d like to just sit with the wardrobe that I have.
Stick to April TEE + CBS content plans
I’ve planned out my content for quarter two for both my business and my blog. With that being said, it’s now time to execute said plan, preferably in advance if I can. I’m excited to fully focus on building both into revenue streams (hopefully) again. Sticking to a plan is easier said than done, though!
Finish business website
This is my main goal for April, because if I want to reboot my business, there needs to be somewhere for potential clients to go! Sure, I have social media presence, but it’s not the same as having a website. As I said earlier, it’s mostly about adding the finishing touches, checking the SEO and links, as well as triple-checking all of the text!
Go through a business workshop or course
With more free time, I need to use that time wisely. That includes improving my knowledge of what I do to help future clients. There’s nothing wrong with a little refresher, especially in digital marketing. How often is there a new app, website or tool? The industry is changing by the day!
That’s a wrap on my 10 goals for April 2026. I’m excited to get stuck in with these goals, which is usually a good sign! It’s a mixed set, so it should keep the month interesting.
