How are we just two months from the end of the year? Is it just me, or has this year both simultaneously whizzed by but also dragged? With two months left, there’s still plenty of time to get life back on track, which is exactly what I need right now. Whilst I might not be near to achieving my annual goals, I can still make some progress. Here are my 10 goals for November 2025, but first, let’s have a look back at October.
10 GOALS FOR OCTOBER 2025 RECAP
Before I go into my 10 goals for November 2025, let’s reflect on October. Spoiler alert: it was a bit of a disaster in terms of goals!
Go to the cinema three times
Fail number one. I’ve not been at all, so I wasted my Odeon ticket bundle. However, I just haven’t found the time to get there, so it is what it is.
Read 4 books
Fail number two. I’ve only managed to finish one book this month, as I didn’t read a single page during the first two weeks of the month. However, now I’ve started my new job, I’ve been reading on my commute and during my breaks to up my book count.
Set up my book cart properly
Done. I wouldn’t say it’s the final set-up, but at least it’s done. There’s space for just a handful of new books now, which means I need to get through as many as I can! I’d say there are at least 20 or so that I know I’ll read once and probably donate.
Start 75 Soft
Fail number three. Whilst I haven’t been tracking my habits as much as I should, I’ve been walking much more, snacking less, and drinking lots of water. Next, it’s about incorporating workouts on my work-from-home days and getting back into meal prepping so I don’t reach for convenience food as much.
No phone before finishing AM routine
Fail number four. When I’m heading to work and awake at 6am, I don’t reach for my phone. On my days off, I’ve been spending about an hour on my phone and just lounging about in bed before making a move. That’s definitely not good!
Get back into a routine with my new job
Done. I’ve eased back into the job well, as I’ve retained a lot of the knowledge, despite being away from it for five years. I try to keep my workday routine simple, so I simply get ready and out the door. When I’m back home, I tend to just relax and watch a box set (currently Grey’s Anatomy), because I’m so knackered!
Stick to weekly resets
Done-ish. I wouldn’t say I’ve been strict with them, but I’ve done some kind of reset every weekend. Whether it’s just been setting up my Google Calendar for the week or cleaning my space, I’ve done something.
Have 15 no-spend days
Fail number five, but only slightly. I managed to reach eleven no-spend days. However, I think that from November, I might count any weekdays where my only spending is a takeaway coffee and trains to and from work as a planned no-spend day. I take my reusable mug with me to Costa and get two beans, so within a couple of weeks, I’m at a free drink. It’s the only money I spend that day, so I should be able to count it.
Set up a content routine for my business
Fail number six. Once again, I’ve neglected my business marketing. We’ll try again next month. Or next year.
Post 2-3 blog posts a week
Fail number seven. I’ve posted four times in October, once a week in theory, which I suppose is better than nothing! However, it’s not consistent as I posted on the 2nd, 7th, 8th and 22nd. Again, it’s a goal that I’m always striving for and need to get a better routine of it!
NOVEMBER 2025 PLANS
November’s a quieter month, but I still have a weekend away as well as a theatre day trip. However, after mid-month, I have zero out-of-town plans for about a month. Here’s a round-up of my plans for the month.
4th – Nails appointment
7th – Birmingham trip – Maren Morris
8th – Leeds trip – Five
12th – Bradford day trip – Matilda the Musical
19th – Dermaplaning appointment
25th – Nails appointment
10 GOALS FOR NOVEMBER 2025
That’s October done and dusted. Now, here’s a look at my 10 goals for November 2025, with the overriding theme of getting my life in order before the year ends.
Have a low-spend month (other than travel)
I have a three-day trip to Birmingham/Leeds as well as a day trip to Bradford in November. Other than that, it’s work and my university digital marketing course. The aim is to make more than I spend, and hopefully save something too!
Write 8 blog posts
The plan is to post on Mondays and Fridays, before ramping up to posting every weekday in December. Yes, I’m aiming to do some version of Blogmas and have planned out the entire month’s content ideas. However, now it’s time to write as much stuff for November and December in advance as I can.
Write 8 articles for client R, minimum
I’ve really slacked off on client work in recent weeks, having been busy with my part-time job and general life stuff happening. Now that I’m into a routine with my job, it’s time to get back on the wagon with my clients. My main client is very understanding of life stuff, but with Black Friday and Christmas on the way, I would like to contribute even more articles for their website. Two a week seems manageable, even if I have to work evenings or at the weekend.
Create (and read) TBR for the rest of the year
I’m excited to read some Christmas chick lit over the next two months, but I still have some book series that I’d like to finish. My TBR will be a mixture of physical books and Kindle eBooks, as I try to get through my book collection.
Go on a book-buying ban
This ties in with the goal above, as I just have too many books on my shelves and on my Kindle. Unless it’s a new release and it’s an absolute bargain, the aim is to buy zero books in November. I just have so many that I don’t need anymore right now!
Post something on business socials
I’ve really neglected my business marketing in 2025, so I’d love to just post something. I’ll probably start with an availability post, but right now, I’m struggling for time to balance it all! Maybe I’ll close my books until the new year instead?
Use my habit tracker app every day
Despite trying to start 75 Soft, I just think it’s too much pressure for me to overhaul my life in one go. In October, I’ve upped my step count and water intake and snacked less, so now it’s about maintaining that and maybe adding a habit or two.
Workout on every work-from-home weekday
Ideally, I want to add home workouts for those days when I’m working from home during the week. That means a couple per week, which shouldn’t be too hard to maintain. Even some ballet or pilates will do, as I don’t usually have the energy for HIIT anymore!
Bake something
Before Christmas, I want to get back into the baking groove. I used to really enjoy trying new recipes, but tend to stick to the same cookies, brownies and loaf cakes, because they’re easy! Cookies are easier to make and also last more than a couple of days, too!
Save something towards my tax bill
My tax bill is due in January as always, and right now, I have very little saved up for it. I really need to save something so I’m not scrambling again in January. Originally, I had good intentions and saved 20% of each invoice. However, life happened, and I spent most of that savings pot. Oops.
And that’s a wrap on my 10 goals for November 2025. I’m looking forward to having a bit of a reset after a busy couple of months, and hoping to focus on balance and routine once again. After spending the weekend doing a massive monthly reset, it’s all a go for the start of a new month!
