Welcome to another installment of the Sunday Diaries. I’m loving having these little catch-ups with you all. You can basically have a nosey into just how boring my life is! Shall we jump straight in? Let’s begin the Sunday Diaries 010 then!
HAPPY RED (TAYLOR’S VERSION) DAY
Finally, one of my favourite albums of all time has been re-recorded and re-released. You all know I’m a massive Swiftie. This meant I took Friday off of client work to listen all day long. I even reviewed the album (part 1 and part 2) for the blog. Slowly I’m turning into a Taylor fansite.
A DAY OUT IN YORK
Yesterday, I popped to York for the day with my parents. I saw my fab friend, Hollie, who was hosting a pop-up shop there for her business, Cosy Girls Club (give her a follow on Instagram here). I also had one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had from Cocoa Joe’s, my new favourite place. We ended up having Chinese for dinner from Hong Kong Chop House, which was just £7.99 for a starter and main! Afterwards, we hopped over the McArthur Glen for an hour or so but it’s not somewhere I’ll be going much more. The highlights are the Lindt, Cadbury and Haribo shops now for me!
FIRST PRESS NIGHT OF 2021
My fifth theatre trip of the year was to see Chicago at my local Hull New Theatre on press night. I took Mumma Reed for the night and after a Nando’s, we headed over. The performance was amazing but I was still disappointed in the lack of mask wearing in the theatre. I really wish it was mandatory (not for those with exemptions, obviously).
I thought I’d do a short and sweet ‘The Sunday Diaries 010’ this week after posting three times already this week. If you want to keep up with my life regularly, follow me on Twitter or Instagram! Until next week!
