I’ve really gotten back into reading in 2023 and I credit implementing my evening routine properly for that! You’ll notice that I still read a lot of non-fiction/productivity books, purely because I like to find any new tips I can implement. However, I’ve really got back into reading fiction again. Let’s head straight into what I read in Q1 2023.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ READS
Guys, I’ve discovered a new favorite author – Olivia Spring! I blasted through all four of her books listed here in 8 days. I loved how they all followed on from each other, featuring a different character from the friendship group every time. I’m excited to read her other books because she’s now up there with Lindsey Kelk, Portia MacIntosh, and Paige Toon for me!
My Ten-Year Crush – Olivia Spring
My Lucky Night – Olivia Spring
Maximize 365 – Kristin A. Sherry
My Paris Romance – Olivia Spring
My Spanish Romance – Olivia Spring
⭐⭐⭐⭐ READS
You’ll spot that despite six books being here, they’re by just two authors. I’ve read a tonne of books by both authors. Whilst they do feel very samey, I do find myself feeling motivated by their tips. Are they groundbreaking? No. But do they feel repetitive when you read them back-to-back? Absolutely.
Master Your Beliefs – Thibaut Meurisse
The One Goal – Thibaut Meurisse
Master our Time – Thibaut Meurisse
The 30-Day Productivity Plan – Damon Zahariades
The Time Chunking Method – Damon Zahariades
Fast Focus – Damon Zahariades
⭐⭐⭐ READS
I’m pretty sure the first two books here were my first two reads of the year. They’ve left such a lasting impression that I genuinely can’t remember anything about them! That probably means I won’t read anything else they write! Sometimes, you find that an author is just not your cup of tea, and I’m 100% okay with that.
Think Small – Owain Service
The Organised Life Project – Naomi Lynas
Upgrade Yourself – Thibaut Meurisse
I enjoy doing these short and sweet book wrap-ups because I love reflecting and seeing my progress. If you enjoyed what I read in Q1 2023, I’m going to start sharing what I read monthly on my Instagram and Twitter! Also, if you have any book recommendations, please send them my way! I’m always looking for new reads, especially if they’re in the chick-lit or productivity genres!
