For a change, it feels like I haven’t got through much TV in April. However, when I looked at the shows I did watch, most have 20+ episodes per season! With that being said, here’s what I watched in April 2025.
Chicago Fire s3
I’m slowly getting through my Chicago Fire rewatch. I’ve been watching it in bed most nights Sunday to Wednesday and usually get through three to four episodes per night. I much prefer the earlier seasons because I love Peter Mills and Gabby Dawson but Dawson’s character gets worse as the show goes on. The best thing about the show is how many actors are still in it from season one to now! I’m not sure how much longer it will be on air for though because I feel like they’re running out of storylines.
Drive to Survive s6
I will finish Drive to Survive in 2025! Right now, I have eight episodes of season six to get through and I’ll be up to date on the show. You will all know that I love F1 but I watch it more for the races (and Lewis Hamilton), rather than the drivers themselves. Well, I might stop watching when #44 retires because he’s the GOAT!
SVU s17 + s21-24
I’m about halfway through watching all 25 seasons in one year! Getting through five seasons in one month is impressive, even for me! As you saw above, usually I prefer the earlier seasons on a TV show. With SVU, although I like the early seasons, the later ones are better to me. When Barba and Carisi were introduced to the show, that’s when my favourite seasons are!
Six the Musical Live
I’d love to start going to the cinema more but it’s fitting it into my daily schedule! However, I did treat myself to an afternoon in town doing some beauty shopping and going to a coffee shop before spending a couple of hours watching Six at the cinema. It’s one of my all-time favourite musicals and I loved the original cast so I was thrilled that the filmed version was so good!
As you can see, it’s short and sweet for what I watched in April 2025. I didn’t even watch any films at home because box sets are more my thing right now!
