Because of my holiday, September’s watchlist isn’t as long as previous months. That doesn’t mean I didn’t watch anything though. You all know that I watch a lot of TV so what I watched in September 2023 is still more than most!
CHICAGO PD SEASON 10
Urgh, I had to catch up but I was not prepared for Halstead’s leaving. He’s been my favourite character since the very beginning but his ending was not it for me. It was so poorly done and so unlike him! I don’t think I’ll ever get over how bad it was and I really hope he gets to return one day. Other than that, Torres is a great addition to the show, and maybe finally, Burzek can be a proper couple! However, judging by the final episode, maybe not! Now to rewatch Chicago Med next.
DCC: MTT SEASON 7+8
These are probably two of my favourite seasons of the show. I have some favourite former DCCs in each of these rookie classes. There’s something about dance shows that I just love. If only I’d discovered this show earlier and was still super fit, I’d have given my right hand to audition!
GILMORE GIRLS SEASON 1
Autumn is here, which means so is Gilmore Girls season. It’s the ultimate set-up for cosy season, which is my favourite time of the year. I’m not made for the summer! First season Rory is lovely but gets progressively worse once she leaves school.
LAW & ORDER: SVU SEASON 17
Season 17 is one of the best ones as every character gets a storyline for themselves. The Gregory Yates/Carl Rudnick episodes are genuinely some of the scariest of the show ever, purely because those two actors are amazing at playing baddies. Season 17 really pushes the boat with topical episodes too and they are always sensitive. There’s a Chicago PD crossover too as well as returns for Dr Huang and Sergeant Munch, two of the all-time best characters. It’s also the season that features Andy Karl, who does a great job!
That’s a wrap on my what I watched in September 2023 blog post. You can find my other TV blog posts right here. Follow me on Twitter or Instagram where I talk about my favourite TV shows a lot!
