August was a lot, so it’s time to have a bit of a reset as we head into September. I’m hoping it will bring a balance of work, healthy living and fun. I might not be returning to school/college/university, but September is still very much ‘new beginnings’ for me. Here’s a look at my 10 goals for September 2025 and my plans for the month.
SEPTEMBER PLANS
I’ve got some fun plans in September, including a week away with my parents and seeing my favourite bands two nights in a row!
11th – Tina the Musical – Sheffield day trip
15th-19th – Trip to Whitby for the week
26th-27th – Busted v McFly in Sheffield and Leeds
30th – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe press night in Hull
10 GOALS FOR SEPTEMBER 2025
With August done and dusted, it’s time to set some goals for the new month. Here are my 10 goals for September 2025.
Declutter wardrobes
Heading into September, I want to have a full, fresh start, and that always starts with my wardrobe. Sure, I don’t have as much stuff as I used to, but my wardrobes and drawers currently feel too full for me. I’m in serious need of some re-organisation because I have random items in random places.
Set up for autumn capsule wardrobe
After I’ve decluttered, I’m excited to create my autumn capsule wardrobe. It’s my favourite season by far, and I’m looking forward to wearing long-sleeved striped tops, sweatshirts, and jeans again. I also want to do this capsule earlier than the start of October, because I want to see what gaps I have and make a wishlist a couple of weeks before the season starts.
Upload clothing to Vinted
With that being said, if I’ve not been wearing an item, it’s time for it to go. As much as I hate uploading stuff to Vinted, I do like the extra income. Because I know I won’t have a ton of stuff to upload, it might make the task a little easier.
Read 4 books
I’ve been in a bit of a slump in recent months with my reading, so I want to get back into reading every night before bed. Because I’m on a book-buying ban (unless it’s a new release), I’ve got to start making my way through my Kindle TBR, because it’s a lot. I’ve been trying to finish out some series, and I’ve managed to get through most of them now. Now, it’s about discovering old favourites and new authors to me.
Start 75 Soft
Today, I’m starting 75 Soft (again), because I need to kick my butt into gear. It’s part of my ‘Feeling Free for 33’ transformation, so the main focus is on eating healthily and moving my body more. I want to have more energy first and foremost, and get back to being a disciplined person, too.
Stick to meal prepping twice a week
With the above, meal prepping is key for me, so I don’t just reach for convenience foods. However, I hate spending hours and hours in the kitchen on a Sunday, prepping for an entire week. Instead, I’ll be batch cooking two main meals a week, once on Sunday for Sunday to Tuesday, and then again on Wednesday for Wednesday to Friday. Saturdays will be my spare days to enjoy more food, but I’ll still be mindful of what I’m eating.
Reset AM + PM routines
If there’s one thing I love, it’s routine. However, I’ve gotten really lazy with both my morning and evening routines this summer. Going into autumn, it’s a great time to review what you want to add in and try out a few variations. I’m big on non-negotiables, such as my skincare routine and getting dressed, but I can pad it out with journaling, reading, and working out.
Save something!
I’ve recently relaunched my business, and I’m kind of starting from scratch. That means my income will dip slightly as I start from the ground up again. With a variable income, I’m also looking at getting a part-time retail job for the time being. It might seem like a step back, but I’d love some consistent income whilst I work on my business and figure my life out. I’m sure people in my life will have an opinion, but it’s right for me for right now.
Stick to business content posting schedule
If I want to work on my business, I need to be producing consistent content. My schedule ideally would be posting once a week on my blog and three times a week on my socials. To begin with, I’m reducing my blog posts to just one per month, just to give myself a bit of a break! I can’t preach about posting consistent content to my clients if I’m not doing it myself.
Start drafting TEE blog posts in advance
Today is my first blog post since mid-July, taking the entirety of August off with some personal stuff. However, I love to write for fun, so I’m excited to bring it back. I’m hoping to redo my website eventually, but for now, I’d rather just post more fresh content. However, that means writing posts up in advance, so I can feel more organised.
And that’s a wrap on my 10 goals for September 2025. It’s going to be a fun month, with a fresh start. September has always felt like a New Year in a lot of ways, so why not give yourself four months to save your year?
