These feel like some old-school diary entries, just minus the ‘Dear Diary’ part and the god-awful handwriting. There’s also something so therapeutic about dumping all your thoughts onto the page so apologies if it’s not your thing! Here’s the next installment: the Sunday Diaries 006.
PUSHING THROUGH CLIENT WORK
This week, I’ve managed to write 9 blog posts (for clients and myself) and I think it’s the first time I’ve written so much. Wednesday was my most productive day so far, writing 4 client blog posts as well as one of my own. It shows that when I get my head down, I don’t procrastinate as much as I usually do! Here’s hoping that every week will be as productive!
STARTING ONE TREE HILL AGAIN
It’s one of my favourite TV shows of all time but it’s been such a long time since I’ve watched it. All the characters you’re meant to like at the start (Peyton + Lucas) end up being the worst. On the other hand, Brooke and Nathan start off as horrible characters and have such amazing character development as the series go on. I definitely prefer the earlier seasons; teen dramas are so much better when they’re actually in high school (One Tree Hill, The OC, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Glee, Gilmore Girls, 90210, Vampire Diaries to name but a few!I only started watching it on Tuesday and I’m already on to season 2. When I watch a show, I do nothing else!
TREATING MYSELF
I’ve been really trying to cut back on my spending lately but I do allow myself treats, such as getting my nails done every three week. Ellie is such a fab beautician and it’s nice to have a catch-up every couple of weeks. This was the third appointment I’ve had with her for gel nails and she always does such a fab job. She likes me because I give her free rein with design, I just pick the colours!
MAMMOTH CONTENT PLANNING
I’ve been debating over setting up more blogs (because I just have so much free time, obviously) so I sat down and did some brainstorming. I’m hoping to set both new blogs up by the end of the year but I’m hoping to increase my business income so I can hire someone to basically manage them for me. I love the writing side of it all but it takes me too much time to do anything technical.
DERBY DAY
Sport is such a huge part of my life and Saturday is one of the biggest days of my sporting year: the Hull FC-Hull KR derby (rugby league for those who don’t know). As an FC fan, I was thrilled to get the win. Derby days make me so nervous so the stress levels are always high! They’re never comfortable to watch as a fan but a win is a win at the end of the day!
And that completes the Sunday Diaries 006. Come back next Sunday for the next instalment. To keep up with everything going on, why not follow me on Twitter or Instagram?
