Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you enjoyed Bonfire Night. It’s one of my least favourite nights of the year because I hate the noise of fireworks! However, I do like how pretty they can look if done well but it’s not something I celebrate. I’m also starting to get into Christmas mode, with a few films recorded off Christmas24, my favourite channel. Let’s crack on with the Sunday Diaries 009.
RESEARCH FOR MY NEW BLOG
Despite being set up and live, my new blog, The Realistic Minimalist, has two posts sat on it and nothing else. I made the decision to bench it for now and start posting consistently in the new year. I’ve got tonnes of ideas for blog posts about organisation, minimalism and capsule wardrobes so keep an eye out for them in 2022!
WORKING WITH MY ENERGY
This sounds a bit weird but I’ve started working around when I have the most energy. I’ve stopped time-blocking my day and instead, make a list of 3 tasks I need to get done that day and work when I feel best. I set up a running to-do list for all those tasks that I want to get done but don’t need to do right now. They get ticked off when I have a spare pocket of time!
HERMIT LIFE
I’ve actually not left the house this week as I often don’t. I’m cautious still about crowded places, wear my mask all the time and still minimise my outings. Next week, I’ll be out of the house three days so I’ve just conserved my energy this week!
BACK TO BUSINESS SOCIALS
After initally only planning on taking one week off social media, I took two months off my business socials for no reason at all. This week, I returned and felt so supported by my fellow business owners. I’m excited to create useful content again to help my followers and hopefully turn more of them into paying clients!
CLIENT WORK
I managed to get one new client this week as well as get an old one back! Because I’m hoping to take three to four weeks off at Christmas, I want to get as much done as I can before them! That means I need to get myself all organised!
