How is it July already? 2022 is just whizzing by yet I feel like I’ve done nothing! June has definitely been all about reflecting and planning for me as you’ll see soon enough! Here’s the latest instalment in the Sunday Diaries 014.
NOSTALGIA KICKS
I’ve decided to move back to the 00s in June. I listened to my Glee playlist featuring every song on the show (all 677 of them) and I started The OC from the beginning. It’s been a couple of years since I watched it and it’s my favourite show of all time. However, I highly doubt I will ever get into 00s fashion again (although Summer and Marissa have the most gorgeous collections of camisoles).
THE ROOKIE CATCH-UP
It’s no secret that I love crime dramas but lately, I’ve been binging on The Rookie and I forgot how much I loved it. It’s not like most crime dramas because it’s hysterical sometimes! The main characters are such a great mix, with lots of strong women on show too. I’ve watched a lot of TV recently!
A DAY TRIP TO LONDON
Usually, I hate travelling to London and back in one day but I made an exception this time. I got to finally meet the lovely Shona, who I had a fab lunch with, before heading over to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre to see the incredible Legally Blonde. Sitting on a train for five hours total was a bit tiresome but luckily, nothing was delayed!
PLANNING
In the last couple of weeks, I’ve done a LOT of deep thinking. I’ve thought about my business, my blog, my health/fitness and my life in general. It’s led me to plan out my trips for the rest of the year and my blog content for the month as well as think about the next stages of my business. I’ve planned out my Q3 and July goals and feel so motivated and determined to make the rest of 2022 a success!
THE MID-YEAR RESET
Following on from my planning above, it’s been nice to sit back, re-evaluate what I want in life and have a little mid-year reset. I purchased some new Busy B diaries and notebooks and took part in Victoria‘s Magic of the Mid-Year Reset challenge. It’s important for me to not be too hard on myself for a challenging few months but equally, understand that I’m not where I want to be in life and have something new to push forward towards.
A short and sweet The Sunday Diaries 014 but I love sharing little snapshots of my life. It’s so nice to reflect on the week before the next one starts. You could always follow me on Twitter and Instagram if you want more regular updates!
