10-goals-for-may-2021-header

Guess what? It’s gonna be MAY! Come on, I had to squeeze in my love of 90s/00s pop music somewhere! April was a great month for me: I had my best month business-wise and I’ve got some new services on the way too. Now I’ve got my business organised, it’s time to come back to The English Everygirl once again. Ideally, I’d like to post three times a week but we’ll see how it goes. After we have a quick look at my April stats, I’ll share my 10 goals for May 2021.

APRIL STATS

5 – Number of TV series watched

4 – Number of empties

£225 – Money saved

6 – Books read

951 – Number of pages read

3 – Number of blog posts written

1,000,000 – Number of listens of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) (parts 1 and 2 of my review)

MAY GOALS

Complete Blogilates Hot Girl Summer Sculpt

I’ve really fallen off the wagon when it comes to health and fitness. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I worked out. To combat this, I’ll be joining Blogilates’ Hot Girl Summer Sculpt 2-weeks programme. It starts today so head over there and we can be accountability buddies!

Bullet journal daily

I need to start planning daily so I’m trying my bullet journal again. I’ll be tracking pretty much everything: habits, daily to-do’s, meals, exercise, self-care. A new month and a Bank Holiday Monday is a great time to restart it all!

£100 side hustle income

I’ve been a bit lacklustre with side hustling this year so I’d like to get back to it. I’ll be focusing on selling old clothes and beauty products on Depop as well as online/app surveys, receipt scanning and free online draws.

Read 17 books

This is a huge number but I’m way behind on my GoodReads challenge this year. I seriously need to up my game in May to stand a chance of reaching 120 for the year!

No-spend month + 24 no-spend days

April was a high-spend month so I need to cut back in May. I know I have a couple of extra expenses as my domains are all up for renewal but other than that, I’m banning myself from spending from today onwards to get back on track with my no-spend year!

Set up new business services

I’m really excited about my new business packages as I think they’re what my audience really needs. I’ve written the copy for the website, it just needs uploading and creating lots of social media content about it. I’ve never really launched anything before so any tips would be handy!

Consistent content for CBS + TEE

My business content is pretty much all scheduled for May, other than a few days on social media and a couple of blog posts that I need to write. However, TEE is not as organised. I’m struggling with where I want this blog to go so it’s something I need to have a think about. Like I said earlier, I’d like to post three times a week (Mon, Wed + Fri) but we’ll see!

Update 20 old posts

I was trying to power through updating old blog posts but they seem to take aaaaages! 20 old posts mean one every weekday for the month, which seems more manageable. Hopefully, I can start to improve my blog bit by bit.

Get up-to-date with memberships

As per usual, I’m part of a million memberships and courses and need to get back on track with them. You miss one week and then another, before you know it, you’re six weeks behind! I’ve listed them in order of priority so hopefully, that will help.

Sort through my beauty stash

I’ve got a large collection of beauty products, from skincare to make-up, and I need to declutter it. Now I’ve gone through my wardrobe, my beauty stash is next. I’ll upload as much as I can on Depop to make some money back or give them away to friends and family. It’s overwhelming to open my drawers and cupboards at the moment so this might help me to destress!

There you have it, my 10 goals for May 2021 are pretty varied but most require lots of attention! Keep me accountable by checking in with me on Twitter and Instagram!
